JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 21-12-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the counsel appearing on behalf of the State.
The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is with regard to payment of arrears of difference of salary as Reader and University Professor.
It appears that the matter has not been finalized one way or the other by the University.
Under such circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.5, ViceChancellor who shall examine the claim of the petitioner and pass
Patna High Court CWJC No.18889 of 2017 (2) dt.21-12-2017 2/2 reasoned speaking order with regard to the claim of the petitioner within a period of sixty days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
In case, the Vice-Chancellor finds substance in the claim of the petitioner he shall ensure payment of the arrears within a further period of two months from the date of passing such order.
With the aforesaid, the writ application stands disposed of.
