2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No. 287 of 2025 for the offence under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act lodged on 08.04.2025 by the informant, Jyoti Kiran.

3. As per the prosecution story, the informant alleged that during patrolling and upon secret information, the place was raided and there is recovery/seizure of 327.96 liters of foreign liquor from the Ertiga vehicle. This led to the FIR.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he does not own the car rather his name has come in the statement of the chowkidar.

5. Learned APP opposes the prayer submitting that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.37200 of 2025(2) dt.18-06-2025 2/2 perusal of the paragraph-3 would show that he has eight criminal antecedents of the same nature ranging from 2020 till 2024.

6. Taking into account the submissions of the parties as also his criminal antecedents, it would be appropriate that he seeks bail.

7. The anticipatory bail application stands rejected.

8. If, however, the petitioner surrenders within four weeks from today and seeks bail, the concerned Court shall take up the matter and dispose it of preferably on the same day. (Rajiv Roy, J) Adnan/- U T
