The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Jadopur P.S. Case No. 125 of 2019 instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016 and Amendment Act, 2018.

it appears that 326 litres of liquor was recovered and the petitioner and others are said to have been identified in the torch light by the local Chowkidar.

Though there are several cases of similar nature against the accused but according to the learned counsel for the petitioner all these cases have been lodged against him

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.36471 of 2020(2) dt.30-01-2021 2/2 with similar kind of allegations. The petitioner is on bail in four of such cases about which, reference has been made in paragraph - 3 of the bail petition.

The petitioner is in custody since 29.02.2020. Regard being had to the nature of accusation and period of custody, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District & Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Gopalganj in connection with Jadopur P.S. Case No. 125 of 2019.
