1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a) and 47 of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that similarly situated co-accused Ajit @ Aman Kumar had approached this court seeking anticipatory bail by filing Cr. Misc. No.16873/2024 and the same was allowed by an order dated 18.03.2024. It is next submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 1403.2024 and he was not arrested from the spot and he came to be implicated in the instant case based on confessional statement of apprehended accused in police custody, which does not have any evidentiary value.

4. Learned A.P.P. opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

5. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner above-named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned trial court where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Hasanpur P.S. Case No.120/2017.
