Petitioner seeks bail in Dighwara P.S. Case No.185 of 2019, registered under Sections 341, 323, 379, 420, 406, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 138 of the N.I. Act.

In sum and substance the informant alleged that the petitioner and others took Rs.7,50,000/- for selling a piece of land but the sale deed was not executed. Thereafter the petitioner and others one by one issued cheque of Rs.7,50,000/-, but all the cheques were dishonoured.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that Raj Kishore Sharma and Brij Kishore Sharma have been granted anticipatory bail. Prabhunath Sharma, the father of the petitioner, has also been granted regular bail. Petitioner is in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.36452 of 2020(2) dt.30-01-2021 2/2 custody since 12.07.2020. The dispute is of civil nature. Taking into consideration the facts and nature of allegation made against the petitioner and the fact that the petitioner is in jail since 12.07.2020, petitioner, namely, Ravi Sharma @ Ravi Kumar Sharma is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M., Saran at Chapra in connection with Dighwara P.S. Case No.185 of 2019.
