The petitioner's land was acquired in the year 2007, as asserted in the writ application. He has a grievance that till date the amount of compensation has not been paid. When the land was acquired, the petitioner's father was alive. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that similar persons, whose lands were acquired in the same land acquisition proceeding, have been paid the amount of

My attention has been drawn to a representation filed by the petitioner before the District Land Acquisition Officer, Patna, in December, 2018. In the nature of averments made in the writ application, and in view of submission advanced on behalf of the petitioner, this application is disposed of with an observation that let the District Land Acquisition Officer, Patna take a decision on the petitioner's application, claiming payment of compensation amount in respect of the land, in question, description of which has been given in paragraph 5 of his representation. Such decision must be taken within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, which should be accompanied with the representation, which the petitioner has filed.
