1. The present writ application has been filed by the petitioner being aggrieved by the order of punishment dated 10.10.2018 whereby 02 % of the pension of the petitioner has been forfeited.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that departmental appeal has been filed before the appellate authority i.e. Additional Chief Secretary, Education Department, Govt. of Bihar, Patna which is pending since 08.11.2018.

3. In view of the fact that departmental appeal of petitioner is pending, the appellate authority i.e. Additional

Patna High Court CWJC No.12046 of 2019(3) dt.19-12-2023 2/2 Chief Secretary, Education Department, Government of Bihar, Patna is directed to dispose the departmental appeal of the petitioner as early as possible preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order.

4. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ application is disposed of.
