The petitioners seek pre-arrest bail in connection with Mehasi P.S. Case No. 89 of 2015 registered under Sections 363-A, 366-A/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3(1)(x) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

Regard being had to the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, as contained in Annexure-2 to the present application, in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below within six weeks from today, the petitioners, namely, Ranjit Kumar and Pappu Kumar

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21589 of 2016 (2) dt.25-05-2016 2/2 are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum-Sub Judge-VI, Motihari, East Champaran in connection with Mehasi P.S. Case No. 89 of 2015, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
