Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Buxar (Muffasil) P.S. Case No. 36 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 471, 494, 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 25(1) of Arms Act.

In the nature of allegation as alleged in the FIR and considering the criminal antecedents of the petitioner, the Court is not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner as it has been alleged that the petitioner by forging the signature of the DIG, Sahabad Range, got a forged letter issued showing him as Sub-Inspector based on which he also performed his marriage with a girl after taking heavy dowry,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.41099 of 2024(2) dt.13-08-2024 2/2 when he was married from before. Since it has been alleged that petitioner forged the signature of the DIG, Sahabad Range for his benefit, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

Accordingly, the anticipatory bail application of the petitioner is dismissed.
