Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the counsel appearing on behalf of the State.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the

Patna High Court CWJC No.19405 of 2017(2) dt.28-02-2018 2/2 petitioners were appointed validly on the post of Tola Sewak/Tola Sevika after following the selection process but despite discharging the responsibility of Tola Sewak/Tola Sevika honorarium has not been paid to the petitioners. Considering the nature of grievance of the petitioners, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to District Programme Officer (Shaskarta) to examine the claim of the petitioners and on verification of record if it is found that the petitioners were validly engaged as Tola Sewak/Tola Sevika and the petitioners have worked for the period they are claiming honorarium, necessary order for payment of honorarium may be passed by the respondents within a maximum period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order and if the petitioners are found entitled to payment, monetary benefit should be extended to the petitioners within a further period of two months.
