The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Bahadurganj P.S. Case No. 10 of 2016 registered under Sections 376 and 504 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code. Regard being had to the allegation that on the false pretext of marriage, the petitioner raped the informant and attempted to terminate the pregnancy by administering some medicine, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, the application preferred under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is rejected.
