JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 27-06-2019 Though this writ application has been listed under the heading "For Orders (on office notes)", pointing out certain defects, considering the nature of relief, which the petitioner is seeking, the matter has been heard and is being disposed of by the present order.

The petitioner is seeking a direction to the respondents for demarcation of his lands, appertaining to Khata No. 901, Plot No. 1747 and Khata No. 334, Plot No. 1748, admeasuring 4 katha and 3 dhur, which, according to the petitioner, are his ancestral property. It has also been stated that certain piece of land has been purchased by the petitioner, whereafter he has come in possession thereof.

In my view, if there is no dispute relating to the petitioner's title over the lands, in question, the petitioner has statutory remedy under the Bihar Land Disputes Resolution Act, 2009 (for short 'the Act'), which he can invoke. This writ application is accordingly disposed of with the observation that the petitioner shall be at liberty to make an application before the competent authority, in accordance with the procedures prescribed under the Act and the Rules framed thereunder.
