The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Jogapatti P.S. Case No. 361 of 2017, dated 22.09.2017, instituted for the offences under Sections 304-B and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Regard being had to the nature of accusation against the petitioner, who is the husband of the deceased, I am not inclined to grant bail to him for the present. The prayer for grant of bail is rejected.

However, if there is no substantial progress in the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.35838 of 2020(4) dt.21-05-2021 2/2 trial before the Court below within the next nine months, to be counted from today, the petitioner would be at liberty to approach this Court again for grant of bail.
