The petitioners seek bail in connection with G.O. Case No. 163 of 2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 30 (a) and 56 (b) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

60 litres of liquor is said to have been recovered from the possession of the two petitioners which they claim has wrongly been saddled upon them. They are in custody since 22.08.2020.

The petitioner no. 1 was earlier made accused

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No. 32432 of 2020(2) dt.07-12-2020 2/2 in a case in which he has been granted bail and the petitioner no. 2 has clean antecedents.

Regard being had to the afore-stated facts, the petitioners, above-named, are directed to be released on bail on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, 2nd - cum - Special Judge, Nawadah, in connection with G.O. Case No. 163 of 2020.

The application stands allowed.
