Petitioner is in custody in connection with Spl. Case No.06 of 2019 arising out of Jogbani P.S. Case No.79 of 2019 for the offence under sections 21©/22 of the NDPS Act & 27(b)/28 read with 36 of the Drugs and Cosmetic Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Allegation against this petitioner is that he was found carrying 500 pieces of cough syrup and many drugs in the vehicle driven by him was found during search made by police personnel.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 21.3..2019.

No.45372 of 2019(3) dt.27-09-2019 2/2 Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedent, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned learned District & Sessions Judge, Araria, in connection with Spl. Case No. 06 of 2019 arising out of Jogbani P.S. Case No. 79 of 2019.
