JUSTICE JYOTI SARAN) 08-08-2019 According to the petitioner, there has been misappropriation/ defalcation of Government revenue in settlement of 'Vir Mela' for the year 2019-20 as according to the petitioner, while the settlement in the previous year fetched Rs.16 lacs, for the current year it was fixed at Rs. 20,00,000/- but has fetched only Rs. 6,10,500/-.

According to the petitioner since none came forward to take the settlement, the collection was done by the Circle Officer, respondent No.5 through the local people and resultently the collections made are far below the details of which are given at paragraph 10 of the writ petition which is to

Mr. Pramod Kumar Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the illegality committed has been addressed to the District Magistrate, Patna vide Annexure-3 but since no action was taken that this writ petition filed. Having heard Mr. Pramod Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State and considering that the petitioner has approached the District Magistrate with his complaint, we dispose of this writ petition with the direction to the District Magistrate, Patna to consider the complaint made by the petitioner as espoused by him through the representation at Annexure-3 and dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
