2. The present writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to grant licence of fair price shop to the petitioner under Public Distribution System within Daudnagar PACS.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an elected Chairman of Daudnagar PACS in the year 2014 and is a suitable candidate in Bidupur Block for grant of licence of fair price shop under Public Distribution System.

4. Learned counsel for the respondents, on the other hand, invites attention to Clause 5 of the Bihar Targeted Public Distribution System (Control) Order, 2016 which requires the applicants for grant

5. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and on careful consideration of the materials available on record, this Court finds the writ petition being devoid of any merit. The petitioner has not enclosed any document to show that he has made the requisite application in compliance of Clause 5 of the aforesaid Bihar Targeted PDS (Control) Order, 2016.

6. In the above circumstances, the writ petition stands dismissed.
