The petitioner is aggrieved by the non-acceptance of her nomination. Even while making such complaint the petitioner admits that she belongs to the Backward Class and the seat is reserved for Extremely Backward Class. In view of the definition of the Backward Class as found in Section 2(b) of the Bihar Panchayat Raj Act, 2006, the rejection of the nomination of the petitioner on grounds that she belongs to the Backward Class and not the Extremely Backward Class, cannot be faulted with.
The writ petition is disposed of.
