The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Madhepura P.S. Case No. 601 of 2014 for offences under Sections 341, 323, 379, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 (1) (ii) of the SC/ST Act. The prosecution case is that on 9.11.2014 in the evening, when the Informant was going to Singeshwwar market, the petitioners surrounded the Informant and assaulted him by lathi-danda causing injuries to him and also snatched his bicycle. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.23282 of 2016 (2) dt.24-05-2016 for a petty dispute, the accusation has been leveled. A statement has been made in paragraph no.3 of the petition that the petitioners have no criminal antecedent and have falsely been roped in the present case due to political rivalry.

It has been submitted by the learned Special P.P. for the State that the investigation has already concluded, the petitioners have been charge-sheeted and cognizance has also been taken.

Considering the nature of accusation, it is a case for consideration of prayer for regular bail.

Let the learned court below consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioners, if they surrender within a period of six weeks in connection with Madhepura P.S. Case No. 601 of 2014, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madhepura.

With the aforementioned observations, this application stands disposed of.
