Petitioners apprehend arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302, 498A, 34 of the IPC. As per FIR, all the accused persons including the petitioners tortured and killed the sister of the informant due to non-fulfillment of dowry demand.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner no. 1 is father in law,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.39283 of 2022(2) dt.23-11-2022 2/2 petitioner no. 2 is brother in law and petitioner no. 3 is unmarried sister in law of the deceased. Thrust of allegation is against the husband of the deceased who is in custody. Petitioners are separate in mess and business and have got no criminal antecedent.

Learned counsel appearing for the State and informant oppose the prayer for bail.

Considering the facts of the case, in the event of arrest/surrender within six weeks from today, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM, Saran at Chhapra in connection with Chhapra Town P.S. Case NO. 68 of 2022 subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
