JUSTICE JYOTI SARAN ORAL ORDER 13-01-2015 The grievance of the petitioner is that although she has applied for electric connection as back as on 28.7.2014 before the Executive Engineer, Electric Supply, Danapur Division, Danapur but her request has not been accepted as yet. The application filed by the petitioner is for providing domestic connection at her residence situated at Gola Road, Danapur, Thana No. 21, Ward No. 6(New-19) Mahal No. 103 Holding No. 140A in the District of Patna.

It is the grievance of the petitioner that neither the petitioner has been provided with the connection nor her request has been rejected and it is in these circumstances that the writ petition has been filed.

Patna High Court CWJC No.16812 of 2014 (2) dt.13-01-2015 2 / 2 Mr. Alok Kumar Rahi has appeared for the petitioner while the respondent Holding/Distribution Company is represented by Mr. Padma Dev Narayan.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the grievance raised, this writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file a representation raising her grievance before the respondent No.3, the Executive Engineer, Electric Supply Danapur Division, Khajpura, Patna, along with a copy of this order and whereupon respondent No.3 the Executive Engineer shall consider and dispose of the same and in case the claim of the petitioner is found tenable then he shall provide her with the domestic connection within 48 hours of disposal of the representation, however, in case the claim of the petitioner is not found sustainable, the representation should be disposed by speaking order. In either of the situations, the decision is to be taken within four weeks of the receipt/production of a copy of this order.

The writ petition is disposed of with the direction aforementioned.
