The petitioner is accused in connection with Jhajha P.S. Case No. 118 of 2013 registered under sections 341. 323, 384, 379, 504 read with section 34 of the I.P.C. pending in the Court of S.D.J.M., Jamui.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is a social worker. He is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. There is general and omnibus allegation against him. Further submission is that he is in custody since 12.04.2016.
Learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State opposed the prayer of the petitioner with submission that
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5400 of 2017 (8) dt.18-07-2017 2/2 petitioner has criminal history and there is specific allegation against him.
Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and nature of allegation, I am not inclined to allow the prayer of the petitioner for bail. Accordingly, this application is rejected.
However, trial Court is directed to expedite the trial within a period of six months.
