The petitioner is apprehending her arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 366A/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is of kidnapping the married daughter of the informant.

Suspicion was raised against the petitioner being the sister-in-law (Nanad) of the victim. In 164 Cr. P.C. statement, the victim has stated that she went to Purnea in the company of the petitioner where this petitioner had offered something to eat and thereafter the victim got unconscious and then she was being taken by a boy to Punjab and thereafter the victim returned from Punjab when her brother went to take her back. The 164 Cr. P.C.

Considering inconsistencies in 164 Cr. P.C.

statement of the victim and the petitioner being the lady having no criminal antecedent as stated in paragraph no. 3 of the petition, let her be released on bail in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of twelve weeks from today in connection with K. Nagar P.S. Case No. 245 of 2013 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M. Purnea, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
