2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a complaint case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per prosecution case, Chawkidar found dead body of an unknown person upon which a case was instituted. During investigation, it transpired that the deceased was a tempo driver and his tempo was hired by someone and thereafter, his dead body was found. A police spy disclosed that the petitioner was seen sitting in the tempo.

4. Petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in a case which

No.39633 of 2025(4) dt.09-12-2025 2/2 was registered in the year 2010 and there is no plausible explanation as to why petitioner moved this Court for grant of pre-arrest bail after lapse of more than 14 years in the year 2025. The present application is highly belated and it appears that the petitioner has got no reasonable apprehension of his arrest in the case.

5. Considering the gross unexplained delay in moving this pre-arrest bail application, prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is rejected.
