Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State through video conferencing. The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences alleged under Sections 376(DA), 313 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4/8 of the POCSO Act, registered in connection with Women P.S.Case No.24 of 2020. As per the allegation, the petitioner along with his associate Golu Kumar committed rape upon the victim and the petitioner assured her that he will arrange her marriage with coaccused Golu Kumar. Both the accused persons on that pretext

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.48377 of 2021(2) dt.10-02-2022 2/2 sexually ravished the victim for several times and when she became pregnant, they attempted to terminate her pregnancy by administering the medicines.

In my view, it is not a fit case for anticipatory bail. The prayer for anticipatory bail on behalf of the petitioner is hereby rejected.

Office shall ensure that all defects are removed by the petitioner within the stipulated time as provided hereinabove, failing which the matter shall be brought to the notice of this Court.
