As prayed, learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to correct the designation of the court below mentioned in paragraphs 1 and 18 of the bail petition. The petitioner seeks bail in Laukaha Police Station Case No. 46 of 2020 registered for the offences punishable under sections 363, 366A,506/34 of the Indian Penal Code. As per the prosecution case, petitioner is alleged to have kidnapped the daughter of the informant. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the occurrence took place on 5.2.2020 but the FIR has been lodged on 22.2.2020, i.e., after delay of 17 days without giving cogent reason of delay. Present case is counter blast of Laukaha Police Station Case No. 45 of 2020 lodged by mother of the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 1.3.2020. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the victim in her section 164 Cr.P.C. statement has alleged that the petitioner kidnapped her and also established physical relation with her.

In view of the nature as well as the gravity of the offence alleged in the FIR, prayer for bail of the petitioner is refused.
