This application for anticipatory bail arises out of Sahajitpur P.S. Case No. 104 of 2017, disclosing offence under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that over above confessional statement of co-accused, there is no material collected in course of investigation to implicate the petitioner. As per the First Information Report, on the alleged date of occurrence, when the informant had withdrawn a sum of Rs. 2,20,000/- from the State Bank of India, Dhobwal, three persons boarded on a motorcycle had intercepted and snatched the money and other valuable documents.

Considering the gravity of the offence, I am not

However, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the Court below within four weeks from today and pray for regular bail, if so advised. If he does so, his application for regular bail shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced by rejection of present anticipatory bail application by this Court.
