The petitioner is accused in connection with Warisaliganj P.S. Case No. 247 of 2016 registered under Sections 384, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
On receiving informant about collecting ransom at Patel Chauk by Munrik Yadav @ Jaralwa along with his associates the police reached there and saw that one person was present at the Chauk collecting money to the vehicles. On seeing the police force, he tried to flee away but he was apprehended who disclosed his name as Shankar Kumar, the petitioner. On search, total cash of Rs. 1220 was recovered from the pocket of the petitioner.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.4882 of 2017 (2) dt.03-03-2017 2/2 It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that in fact the petitioner has been implicated in this case on mere suspicion. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 22.10.2016.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, II, Nawada in connection with Warisaliganj P.S. Case No. 247 of 2016.
