In the instant writ petition, petitioner has prayed for the following relief (s) :- "For issuance of appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions directing the respondent authorities particularly the Respondent No. 2 the Deputy Director, Bihar Survey Office, Gulzarbagh, Patna to correct the digital map with respect to the land of the petitioner situated at MauzaBihpur, Thana No. 59, Anchal -Bihpur having cadastral Survey Plot No. 672(old), 967 (New) and Cadastral Survey Pot No.

1296(new) measuring an area of 26 decimal and/or for any other relief or reliefs to which the petitioner may be found entitled to in course of hearing of this writ application."

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the Circle Officer, Bihpur has already admitted that wrong has been accrued in the publication of survey map with regard to plot number and he has already sent letter to the Collector-cumSurvey Settlement Officer, Bhagalpur about the mistake which has been accrued in publication of the revisional map, vide letter no. 257 dated 08.03.2021, as contained in Annexure-6 to the writ petition. Learned counsel further submitted that petitioner has represented the matter before the Collector-cum-Survey Settlement Officer, Bhagalpur on 14.12.2020, as contained in Annexure-5 to the writ petition, but no action has been taken uptill-now.

3. Learned counsel for the respondents submitted that in case petitioner files a fresh representation before the concerned authority, the same shall be looked into.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the arguments advanced on behalf of both the parties, the present writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner

Patna High Court CWJC No.10150 of 2022 dt.21-04-2025 3/3 to approach the authority concerned for redressal of his grievance, which has been raised by the petitioner in the present writ petition, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In case such representation is filed within the stipulated time, the concerned authority shall consider and dispose of the grievance of the petitioner after giving him due opportunity of hearing, expeditiously, preferably within a period of four months from the date of filing of representation by the petitioner.
