The petitioner is in custody in connection with Mehndiganj P.S. Case No.62 of 2019, corresponding to Special Case No.3965 of 2019, registered for the offence punishable under Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. He further submits that in the instant case 11.17 litres liquor was recovered. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that petitioner is in custody in this case since 20.04.2019.
