2. The present writ application has been filed for directing the Respondents to pay Rupees Five Lakh as compensation on the accident of Hit and Run Motor Accident Scheme existing at that time of death of the husband of the petitioner whose death was caused due to accident on 21.02.2022.

3. Recently, a Division Bench of this Court has disposed of C.W.J.C. No. 2183 of 2022 vide order dated 28.11.2023 in view of the fact that now new Rules have been framed.

The petitioner is permitted to approach the District Magistrate-cum-Accident Claim Evaluation Officer, Aurangabad for payment of compensation under the Rules which are applicable in his case and if such a representation is filed, the same shall be disposed of by the District Magistrate-cumAccident Claim Evaluation Officer, Aurangabad by a speaking order in accordance with law within a period of six months from the date of its filing.

5. It is, accordingly, disposed of.
