Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Chanpatia P.S. Case No. 150 of 2016 registered under Sections- 366, 376 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present first information report has been lodged after one and half years of the alleged occurrence and there is no explanation for the same. In fact, the petitioner and the victim are husband and wife and they lived at Patna after marriage. There are documents on record which establishes that victim is wife of the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 29.09.2016.

No.7640 of 2017 (3) dt.20-03-2017 2/2 Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah in connection with Chanpatiya P.S. Case No. 150 of 2016.
