JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 30-05-2016 Heard learned counsels for the petitioners and the State. The petitioners being married sister and brother-in-law (Bahnoi) of the husband of the informant are apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 376/511 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The basic accusation is of torture for non-fulfillment of the dowry demand. It is also alleged that the father of the husband of the informant attempted to ravish the informant. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that the accusation against the petitioners is omnibus and general and
