The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with C.R. Case No.102 of 2021, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A), 494 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The petitioner is said to have tortured O.P. No.2 physically and mentally for non-fulfillment of demand of additional dowry.

By order dated 06.01.2023, the matter was referred to the Patna High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.39342 of 2022(5) dt.17-04-2023 2/2 Perused the Mediator's Report dated 10.04.2023. The Mediator has reported that the dispute between the parties has been resolved through the process of mediation. Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid, let petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Jhanjharpur, District Madhubani in connection with C.R.
