The Petitioner seeks bail in Bhagwanpur P.S. Case No.208 of 2016 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 307, 120-B, 504 Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(1-b)A, 26, 27, 35 of the Arms Act.

It is alleged that on the date of occurrence this petitioner fired shot in the stomach of the son of the informant, namely, Rintu Kumar, as a result of which he became injured seriously. He was taken to Hospital for treatment. Injury Report of the injured is annexed as Annexure-3. The doctor has found gun shot injury on the right side of upper abdomen, which was grievous in nature.

In such circumstances, this Court is not inclined to

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.1184 of 2017 (2) dt.13-01-2017 2/2 grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

However, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after six months if no substantial progress is made in the case. (Sanjay Priya, J) JA/- U T
