Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Rajauli P.S. Case No. 166 of 2023 dated 17.03.2023 lodged under Sections 302 & 34 of the I.P.C.

As per the prosecution case, in the F.I.R., the informant states that his daughter was in love with the petitioner and due to physical relation, the daughter become pregnant. It has been specifically alleged that on the date of occurrence, informant's daughter was going to wheat mill. In the meantime, the petitioner along with three others reached there. The specific allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner and other

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.38923 of 2023(2) dt.07-07-2023 2/2 accused have poured kerosene oil on the body of the victim and burnt, due to which the victim died. There is direct allegation against the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that there is direct allegation against the petitioner about brutal exercise of burning the informant's daughter.

In the present facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Therefore, the bail application of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
