2. This application has been filed on behalf of the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondent authorities to provide a Bodyguard to the petitioner who has been engaged and Working as a Special P.P., Department of Mines and Geology, Government of Bihar, Patna.

3. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been appearing for the Mines Department, Government of Bihar and earlier he was provided one Personal Security Officer but now the security

4. Learned counsel for the State submits that the Security Committee on 06.11.2018 has considered the case of the petitioner and upon finding no threat against the petitioner it did not recommend for providing any personal security officer.

5. In view of the above, this application is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh application before the Security Committee/concerned authority for providing a personal security officer and if such an application is filed by the petitioner, the same shall be considered by the Security Committee/concerned authority in accordance with law and also considering the threat perception to the petitioner.
