Petitioner is an accused in a case registered for offence punishable under Sections 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Allegation in brief is that the petitioner, husband of the informant used to torture and harass her for realizing further demand of dowry.
Submission is that the petitioner made every effort to restore the conjugal life after getting provisional anticipatory bail from the Hon'ble Court but due to stubborn attitude of the wife, it could not be restored and this petitioner has been in custody in this case since 19.11.2016.

No.6580 of 2017 (3) dt.23-02-2017 2 / 2 Having considered the said facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, namely, Hira Lal Pandit be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Banka, in connection with Complaint Case No.1652 of 2014.
