The Petitioner seeks bail in Majholia P.S. Case No. 446 of 2015, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah instituted for the offence under Section(s) 302, 201, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is husband of the deceased.

There is allegation that petitioner with other accused persons committed murder of the deceased in her Sasural and disposed of the dead body.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that informant has filed a petition in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah for compromise/withdrawal of the case.

Learned A.P.P. has submitted that such application filed by the informant is available in the case diary also. Learned A.P.P. further submitted that witnesses have supported the prosecution case also.

In such circumstances, at this stage, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The prayer for bail of the petitioner stands rejected.

The petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after six months, if no substantive progress is made in this case by the Trial Court.
