Petitioner is languishing in custody for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1-b)A/26/35 of the Arms Act.

From possession of the petitioner one countrymade pistol and live cartridges were recovered. The petitioner is in custody since 29.09.2016. The petitioner has got criminal antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The bail prayer of the petitioner is refused. However, the learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial within nine months. If the trial is not concluded within
