JUSTICE RAVI RANJAN ORAL ORDER 10-04-2015 I have heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the State.
Grievance of the petitioners is that though the Sub Divisional Officer, Gopalganj has already made a recommendation vide Annexure-7 to the District Level Selection Committee (Supply) for grant of P.D.S. license in favour of the petitioners in the year 2011 itself, no decision has been taken as yet by the authority concerned.
In above view of the matter, this writ application is
Patna High Court CWJC No.4061 of 2015 (2) dt.10-04-2015 2/2 being disposed of with a direction to the Collector-cum-District Magistrate, who happens to be the Chairman of the Selection Committee concerned to put up this matter before the Selection Committee and take a decision on its own merit and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, if the same has already not been done. The decision taken should immediately be communicated to the petitioners.
