From the allegations, it appears that 34 handpumps were installed out of public funds. It is submitted that 26 were found in order and upon enquiry, it was found that six require repairs. It is, accordingly, alleged that there had been misappropriation of funds.
Be that as it may, the three petitioners in the three applications being Panchayat Sevaks, in the event of their arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, are directed to be released on bail on each of them furnishing bonds of Rs 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Jamui in Sikandra PS Case No 121 of 2014 subject to all conditions as laid down in Section 438 (2) of Criminal Procedure Code with a further condition that upon submission of chargesheet, if any, against them, they would surrender and seek regular bail.
