The present writ petition has been filed "for a direction to the respondents to make payment of retiral dues of the petitioner i.e. Pension, Gratuity, Leave encashment, part of G.P.F. amount and arrear of salary after his retirement on 31.5.2014 as Panchayat Secretary, Bihpur, District Bhagalpur; and for a direction to the respondents to make

Patna High Court CWJC No.23349 of 2018 dt.02-09-2021 2/2 payment of interest as entire amount of retiral dues as per the present bank rate".

3. At the outset itself, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that almost all the grievances of the petitioner have been redressed during pendency of the writ petition, save and except that some amount by way of difference of salary remains to be paid.

4. Learned counsel for the respondents appears.

5. Having regard to the stand of the petitioner, the writ petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file an appropriate representation before the concerned authority for any remaining amount as claimed by him. If any such representation is filed within a period of two weeks hereof, the same shall be considered and disposed of on its own merits in accordance with law and after grant of an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, expeditiously and in any event preferably within a further period of twelve weeks thereafter.

6. It is made clear that in view of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, any correspondence between the parties may be made through e-mail and the petitioner shall be at liberty to request for hearing through video conference. To facilitate disposal, the petitioner shall furnish his mobile number and email ID to the concerned respondent.
