The petitioner is accused in connection with Chausa P.S. Case No. 185 of 2016 registered under Section 393 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is that the informant was returning to his house from village Nawabganj on motorcycle. In the way, four persons standing on the road directed the informant to stop the motorcycle but he moved from there and accelerated his motorcycle. At that time, one person damaged the glass of the motorcycle through lathi. When the informant raised alarm then villagers of village Arajpur gathered there and caught hold one person, who disclosed the name as Md. Jasim (petitioner) and also

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.3947 of 2017 (2) dt.23-02-2017 disclosed the name of his associates as Mantu Yadav. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, in fact, petitioner was apprehended by the informant with the help of villagers mere on suspicion. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 26.10.2016. Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the J.M. Ist Class, Uda-Kishunganj, Madhepura, in connection with Chausa P.S. Case No. 185 of 2016. Out of two sureties, one surety must be the close relative of the petitioner.
