The petitioner seeks bail in Saharsa Sadar P.S. Case No. 50/2019, instituted for offences under Section(s) 147, 341, 323, 447, 354, 386 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 27 of Arms Act.

It is alleged in the written report that on the date of occurrence while informant was in the school along with her husband, petitioner along with two other persons came on motorcycle and threatened her of dire consequences if Rs. 1,50,000/- is not given to them as Rangdari and went away from there. Thereafter, on the same day, petitioner came along with 20 unknown persons and demanded Rangdari. On refusal,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.38417 of 2019(3) dt.27-06-2019 2/2 petitioner assaulted the informant with belt, fists and legs and took out Rs. 35,000/- from the pocket of her sweater. Injury report of informant is annexed as Annexure-2, which shows that bruise with abrasion of size 2"x1" has been found on the wrist of informant, which is caused by hard and blunt object. Nature of injury is simple.

Petitioner is in custody since 26.03.2019.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saharsa, in connection with Saharsa Sadar P.S.
