The petitioner seeks bail in Sahebpur Kamal P.S. Case No.191 of 2020, registered under Section 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and under Sections 30(a) and 41(i) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.
The informant after having received information that Rahul Kumar and his two brothers are indulged in illicit trade of liquor, raided the house of Rahul Kumar and recovered 230 litres of liquor from the house of Rahul Kumar. Petitioner is the brother of Rahul Kumar and he was apprehended on the spot. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the brothers of the petitioner are made accused and petitioner is in jail since 13.06.2020. The petitioner has remained in jail for about eight months.
