The petitioner is accused in connection with Shakurabad P.S. Case No. 83 of 2016, registered under Sections 304(B) and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jehanabad.
The accusation is of killing the daughter of informant by her husband and in-laws due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits, in course of investigation, it has come that due to quarrel in between petitioner and his wife (deceased), she sprinkled Kerosene Oil on her body and set fire herself, who died due to burn injury. Further
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5715 of 2017 (3) dt.22-03-2017 submission is that petitioner is in custody since 18.11.2016. Admittedly, the daughter of informant died at her matrimonial house due to burn injury within two years of her marriage and her dead body was disposed of.
Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, his prayer for grant of bail stands rejected.
