1. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Pawana P.S. Case No. 52 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections 304B, 201 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code and 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. As per the prosecution story, deceased has been killed by the accused persons including the petitioner for demand of dowry. The marriage was solemnized on June 2020 and the deceased has been killed on 01.12.2022

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the father in law of the deceased and the petitioner is in custody since 04.01.2023.

5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.39174 of 2023(2) dt.21-07-2023 2/2 prayer for bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts, this application for regular bail is allowed.

7. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after completing one year in custody and on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-II, Bhojpur at Ara/concerned Court below in connection with Pawana P.S.
