====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SUDHIR SINGH ORAL ORDER 23-09-2020 Due to COVID-19 Pandemic, the matter is being taken up by way of virtual Court proceeding.

The matter has been listed under the heading 'For Orders' under the orders of Hon'ble the Chief Justice. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the respondents.

The following relief has been sought for on behalf of the petitioner in the present writ application. "1. For issuance of a writ in the nature of writ of mandamus directing the respondent authorities to pay the post retiral benefits such as Pension, Gratuity, Leave Encashment,

Patna High Court CWJC No.18703 of 2018(5) dt.23-09-2020 2/2 Provident Fund and other legal dues payable to the petitioner with up-to-date statutory interest besides 18% quarterly compound interest as well as cost of litigation which has not been paid to him even after about one year of his superannuation from service."

On behalf of learned counsels for the petitioner and the respondents, it has been submitted that the writ application has become infructuous as the grievance of the petitioner has already been redressed and no further order is required to be passed in the present writ application.

Considering the submissions made on behalf of the parties, the present writ application stands disposed of as being infructuous.
