Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Paharkatta P.S. Case No. 93 of 2020 registered for offence punishable under sections 341, 323, 504, 338, 307, 354 (B), 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The specific allegation against the petitioner is that he inflicted repeated blows with bricks on the head of the informant's wife, Ajmeri Khatoon.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.50502 of 2021(2) dt.21-06-2022 2/2 that the petitioner is innocent. He is own brother of the informant and there is some dispute between the parties. The injury report has been mentioned in the impugned order, which shows that Ajmeri Khatoon has suffered injuries on her parietal region and after CT-Scan, it was opined by the doctor dangerous to life.

In my view, it is not a fit case for anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail is hereby rejected. Office shall ensure that all defects are removed by the petitioner within the stipulated time mentioned hereinabove, failing which, the matter shall be brought to the notice of this Court.
